The Clackamas County Peace Officers' Benevolent Foundation has been a sponsor of Orphan Relief & Rescue, which aids orphans in Liberia. Since December the ORR has raised over $50,000 towards building orphanages to replace those destroyed during the most recent civil war. Thanks to the hard work of Retired Deputy Sheriff John Van Huizen, the CCPO Benevolent Foundation has been able to provide a conduit for fundraising in Clackamas County.
