P.O.L.I.C.E. PAC
Police Officers Lobbying in Common Effort (P.O.L.I.C.E.) Political Action Committee
The Clackamas County Peace Officers’ Association has a very active Political Action Committee known as P.O.L.I.C.E. This PAC closely monitors local political candidates and measures, determining which to support or oppose. The PAC looks to the best interest of its members in the law enforcement community and the citizens of Clackamas County.
During the November 2007 elections, the P.O.L.I.C.E. PAC was the primary funding and support organization behind the successful campaign to pass Ballot Measure 3-246. Numerous local and state candidates actively seek the endorsement of the CCPOA through the PAC.
The P.O.L.I.C.E. PAC is able to watch the activities in the Oregon Legislature through membership in the Oregon Council of Police Associations, who represent over 4,700 law enforcement members statewide. The OCPA also provides a full-time lobbyist, who gets input from member organization and their political action committees.
If you would like more information regarding the P.O.L.I.C.E. PAC or would like to inquire about an endorsement, please contact us.
