The Clackamas County Peace Officers’ Association provides scholarships to member families only.
The CCPOA Child Scholarship Special Contribution is a competitive process intended to enhance the abilities of students who have demonstrated academic excellence.
The CCPOA has established three permanent scholarships:
- Jimmy Shoop Memorial Scholarship
- Bill Bowman Memorial Scholarship
- Damon Coates Heroism Scholarhip
These three scholarships require a major in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice or other Emergency Services career field, as defined by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.
